- Try adding &D0 to the init string - also, the &C1 is pretty useless on a
- mac. The &D0 will disable hardware DTR hangup, and it sounds like the
- computer is not keeping DTR asserted when it gets too busy or you hit swap
- (something Netscape is great at causing). If the DTR drop is longer than
- the time set in the modem, it will hang up.
