  19. Try adding &D0 to the init string - also, the &C1 is pretty useless on a
  20. mac.  The &D0 will disable hardware DTR hangup, and it sounds like the
  21. computer is not keeping DTR asserted when it gets too busy or you hit swap
  22. (something Netscape is great at causing).  If the DTR drop is longer than
  23. the time set in the modem, it will hang up.
